Who we are

VeriQloud has been founded by a team of researchers evolving in the area of quantum technologies since its early days. These led us to develop a strategic vision of the impact that quantum will have on technology, security and even the whole society.

Based on pioneering work on applications of quantum communication, our developments are based on two major principles that distinguish us from other companies in the field:

1. Application-centric developments: we believe that technology should be steered by end-users’ needs for specific tasks to achieve.

2. Targeting the future: the technology we are developing are here to stay! We do not target only short-term deployments, we are targeting the quantum future.

Our mission

Quantum technologies will have a huge impact on cybersecurity. On the one had, quantum computers are a huge threat with their capacity to break today’s most used encryption methods. On the other hand, quantum communication networks will unlock several new tasks, from quantum key distribution to interconnecting quantum computers.

Our developments are anticipating these changes. Using our hardware and software solutions allows to build a full-stack quantum-readiness strategy. It starts with quantum-safe solutions that can be deployed on today’s classical networks. It goes on with application for quantum networks for secure storage and secure computing. Our vision finally goes all the way to the quantum Utopia in which quantum computers are connected to each other with quantum communication links.
